Alexander Chumachenko

Since 2013, Alexander Chumachenko has worked at the Russian office of DQS, an international certification body. During this time, he has gained practical experience in certification, consulting, and client support on management system matters.

In his role, Alexander has been responsible for the sale of certification and consulting services related to management systems, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001, ISO 13485, ISO/IEC 27001, ISO 37001, ISO 22301, ISO 37301, IATF 16949, and ISO 22163. He supports clients throughout the entire process, from identifying their needs and preparing quotations to initial audit planning and coordination between the client and the audit team.

Alexander’s professional focus is centred on management systems, certification, and auditing. His work sits at the intersection of standard requirements, audit practice, and real business needs.

His key areas of expertise include:

• management system certification to international and national standards;
• implementation and development of management systems;
• preparation for certification audits and surveillance audits;
• internal auditing and conformity assessment;
• practical application of ISO standard requirements;
• selection of a certification body and comparison of quotations;
• preparation of expert content on standards and quality management tools.

Alexander Chumachenko is a practicing auditor for a number of international management system standards.

Audit practice:

• since 2018 — ISO 9001 auditor, with around 100 audits completed;
• since 2019 — ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 auditor, with around 20 audits completed;
• since 2020 — ISO 37001 auditor;
• since 2021 — ISO 37301 auditor;
• since 2024 — ISO 22301 auditor.

In addition, Alexander is the author of more than 100 expert articles on ISO standard requirements and quality management tools. Since 2025, he has been a member of the All-Russian Quality Organization.

Alexander’s content is based not only on the requirements of standards, but also on practical experience in certification and auditing. Through his work at the Russian office of DQS, an international certification body, he understands well the challenges companies face when implementing ISO standards, developing management systems, and going through the certification process. This experience allows him to explain standard requirements in a clear and practical way, using real business situations, common mistakes, and actionable recommendations.

Audit Advisor is an independent project launched by Alexander Chumachenko based on his practical experience in management system certification. The project was created to make the path to certification clearer and more convenient for companies.

Its purpose is not only to help businesses find an accredited certification body and request quotations, but also to provide useful informational support. Through Audit Advisor, Alexander answers common questions, prepares expert materials, and writes articles on the issues that genuinely matter to companies when implementing standards, preparing for audits, and going through certification.
